Perfect Slow Cooker Chicken Breasts


Slow Cooker Chicken Breasts:


Macros per chicken breast:

  • Calories: ~180 kcal

  • Protein: ~32g

  • Carbs: ~6.5g

  • Fat: ~3g

  • Fiber: ~1.25g


Ingredients:


4 chicken breast

1 onion, diced

1 bell pepper, diced

6 garlic gloves, or frozen garlic cubes

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp chili powder

Salt and Pepper

1 32oz carton of chicken bone broth


Directions:


1. Pat chicken breast dry and season with garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, and salt/pepper.

2. In a slow cooker set to low, combine all the ingredients above. Cook on low for 5-6 hours or high 3-4 hours or until chicken breast reach an internal temp of 165.

3. Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred with fork. Strain the onions and peppers and set aside. Use the chicken separately or combine with veggies for meals for the week! (like the Chicken Bacon Ranch Chicken Salad or the Low-Carb Green Enchilada Casserole)
